Vehicle Description
This beautiful 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty was purchased as a work truck. At 111,452 miles, we invested in the truck and did a full repaint of the cab and installed a a brand new Moritz TB Series flatbed. It is 4WD and has a 6.4L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8. Now the bad news. We had to replace the high-pressure fuel system, but after repair, the truck still has blow-back and we no longer have a diesel mechanic. We abandoned further efforts to repair the truck and went to a truck with a gas engine. We are now listing is for sale AS-IS, WHERE-IS. The truck is in otherwise great condition, with only the standard wear you would expect from a work truck on the interior and the fully-refreshed exterior. Here is a video of the startup and blow-by:
We do not know what/how serious the engine problem is and we have given up on diesels as we don’t have the ability to further diagnose/repair them and also have learned these are known problems with the 6.4s. Again, it is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranty written or implied, and does have the known issue of blow-back.
